Description

A corinthian aryballos with six pointed leaf palmettes motif. Three of them filled with black slip. On the other side a six pointed star. 

Around the mouth a black spoked rosette; dots around the rim and on the shoulder, and painted horizontal bands on handle.

Dutch collection. Bought at auction house Bonhams London. 

The Kuizenga Collection, the Netherlands, acquired in Dortmund in 1994. Including copy of an old inventory list of a part of the Kuizenga collection. 

Condition

Good condition, part of top of the mouth broken off.
