Thebes Ancient Art is an online private gallery that specializes in ancient art from Egypt, Rome and Greece.

Your personal data is collected when you start communication with us through our website. 

Why we collect your personal data 

We process your data (name, e-mail address and question) for communication with you. For example if you ask us a question regarding an item or when you register for our newsletter. The legal basis for processing your data is consent. 

Furthermore, we process your name, address, bank-account number, item(s) bought, e-mail address if you buy an item. The legal basis for processing your personal data for this goal is (the preparation of) a contract.

We do not use tracking cookies on this website. 

How long we store your personal data

If you buy an item we store your data for seven years. This is mandatory by Dutch law. 

If you merely ask a question we store your personal data for two months after the last communication. 

If you register for our newsletter, we store your e-mail address for 24 months. After that period we will ask your consent again. 

Your data is stored in a data warehouse in Germany.
