Description
A Greek terracotta draped female torso from the Hellenistic period. The drapery, chiton or himation, has great detail and original pink slip remains. It is worn in a diagonal way over the torso, carried on one side of the shoulder and arm, and wrapped around the body. She lightly holds the drapery under her chest with her right arm.
Positive Thermoluminescence-test. Samples taken from lower part and chest.

Condition
Good condition. The torso has been repaired on the lower left corner, the repair line is visible at the left elbow. There is also a chip to the drapery below the right elbow that has been re-attached. Many traces of original pink slip remain on the drapery.
