Description

Small Corinthian pyxis with a geometric decor. 

A Corinthian pyxis is a type of small container from ancient Greece, specifically produced in Corinth during the 8th–6th centuries B.C. Most of the time pyxides are richly decorated in black-figure or incised style, used mainly by women to store personal items like cosmetics or jewelry.

Positive Thermoluminescence-test.

Condition

Good condition, normal wear and few spots loss of pigment.
